Itinerary
Choose your departure. Make your own way to Trial Bay, or select return transport from Hobart CBD or Kingston when booking.
Meet your hosts, board the Tunacorn and receive a safety briefing before setting out on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel.
Cruise towards Fleurty’s Point Marine Farm while learning about the coastline, the farm and life on the water.
Arrive at Fleurty’s Point Marine Farm, pull on your waders and get ready to harvest your own fresh oysters straight from the water
Wade into the pristine waters of the farm and discover firsthand how Fleurty’s oysters are grown and harvested.
Back aboard the Tunacorn, learn how to shuck your oysters before enjoying them fresh with Tasmanian wine.
Take in the surrounding landscape and keep an eye out for local wildlife as you cruise back through the Channel.
Hear fascinating stories about Tasmania’s sustainable oyster industry from your expert host.
Cruise back past Green Island Nature Reserve for a chance to spot native wildlife.
After approximately
90 minutes on the water, return to Trial Bay. Guests who selected transport will then return to their nominated drop-off location.
